Agentic workflow
An agentic workflow is a process in which an AI model plans and carries out several steps on its own, using tools such as search, a database or other software, rather than answering a single prompt. The model decides what to do next based on what each step returns.
What it means
Agentic workflows are useful when a task can't be fully specified in advance: the next step depends on what the last one found. They're also harder to build well than a single prompt, because every step can go wrong and errors compound.
Three things make them dependable: a record of every step the model took, so a failure can be found and explained; limits on what the model may do without a person approving it; and an evaluation that tests the whole workflow, not just individual answers.
How we use it
Own venture apprn is agentic salon management: the agentic features are designed inside a product, around a verified record. It isn't evidence that we sell workflow automation to other businesses, and we don't.
