Privacy Policy
What we collect when you visit graylemon.io, why, and what choices you have about it. Effective 26 August 2026.
Who this covers
This policy is issued by Graylemon Ventures Private Limited (“Graylemon,” “we,” “us”), based in Ahmedabad, India, and applies to graylemon.io. It explains what personal information we collect from visitors, why, and what choices you have about it.
For any question about this policy or your information, write to hello@graylemon.io.
What we collect
What you give us directly: if you use the inquiry form, we ask for your name, email address, company or venture name, project stage, budget range, and your message. If you subscribe to the journal, we ask for your email address only. Both are optional; the site is fully readable without submitting either.
What’s collected automatically. Standard technical data any web server records: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you came from, and which pages you visit, for as long as our hosting provider retains its logs.
Analytics, only if you say yes: we use Google Analytics to understand traffic: which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, and device/browser type. It does not load, and no analytics cookie is set, until you click “Accept” on the banner shown on your first visit. Clicking “Decline,” or not answering, means nothing loads. We remember your choice in your browser (not on our servers) so we don’t ask again. See “Cookies, and who else sees it” below for what accepting sets and how to change your mind.
Loading any page also loads a small number of third-party resources directly in your browser, our webfonts (Google Fonts) and some photography (Unsplash). Requesting those resources shares your IP address and browser information with Google and Unsplash respectively, under their own privacy policies, independent of us.
How we use it, and on what basis
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Where consent-based processing applies (for visitors in the EU/EEA, UK, and under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), we rely on your consent, given by submitting the inquiry form or subscribing, as the basis for processing what you send us. You can withdraw that consent at any time; see “Your rights” below.
Cookies, and who else sees it
One piece of local storage either way: accepting or declining the analytics banner, so we know not to ask again; that choice never leaves your browser. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (typically `_ga` and a per-property `_ga_*` cookie) to distinguish repeat visits, governed by Google’s privacy policy, not ours. Nothing else on the site sets a cookie. The third-party resources described above (Google Fonts, Unsplash) may be subject to their own providers’ cookie practices, which we don’t control.
Changed your mind? Clear graylemon.io’s site data in your browser (or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on) and the banner will ask again on your next visit.
We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information. Google processes analytics data under its own terms as an independent controller for that data, not as our processor. We may share what you send us directly with service providers who help us run the site or process inquiries (for example hosting or email delivery), bound to use it only for that purpose; with authorities, if required by law or to protect our legal rights; or with a successor entity if Graylemon is ever acquired or merges. You’d be notified first.
How long we keep it, and your rights
We keep inquiry and subscription information for as long as it’s useful for the purpose you gave it to us, and delete or anonymise it after three years of no further engagement, or sooner on request.
To exercise any of the rights above, email hello@graylemon.io. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the timeframe applicable law requires.
Children, transfers, security, changes
The site is directed at businesses and founders, not children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.
We’re based in India and may process information there and in countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect information that crosses borders, consistent with applicable law.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
